The Watsonville High boys track and field team finished off its Monterey Bay League Pacific division season with a pair of wins over Pajaro Valley High (117-13) and Christopher High (79-56) on Wednesday in Watsonville.

Miguel Leon was a triple winner for Watsonville. He finished first in the 1,600-, 800- and 3,200-meters with times of 5 minutes, 0.26 seconds, 2:20.51 and 10:47.3, respectively.

Rolando Llamas was first in the shot put and discus with tosses of 43 feet, 8 1/2 inches and 119-6, respectively.

Pajaro Valley’s Luis Leonor broke his school record in the pole vault by clearing 12-0.

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD

• Watsonville splits – Watsonville High split its three-way MBL-P dual meet on Wednesday in Watsonville, beating Pajaro Valley (89-37) but losing to Christopher (68-66).

Watsonville’s Daniela Salazar won the 400 (1:03.77) and the 800 (5:31.05).

Her teammate Jackie Barocio won the triple jump (31-6.5).

Pajaro Valley’s Jayleen Solorzano took first in the 200 (28.51), and her teammate Katelyn Strader won the high jump (4-10).

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

• Mt. Madonna 3, Soquel 0 – Brigg Busenhart had 18 kills, Jordan Willis added eight and Mt. Madonna battled to a 25-23, 25-19, 26-24 Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League win on Wednesday night.

Zach Wagner made 36 assists for Mt. Madonna (24-6, 11-2), which travels to Scotts Valley High tonight at 6:30 p.m.
