The Cabrillo College Seahawks racked up 13 hits in a 19-10 non-conference win over the West Valley College on Thursday in Aptos.

Cam White, Tyler Biersdorff and Zach Thibaut all had three RBIs for Cabrillo (21-10, 8-2), which travels to the City College of San Francisco today for a non-conference game at noon.

Jarius Richards was 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBIs and two walks. Biersdorff went 2-for-3 with a triple, three scored runs, three walks and the three RBIs. Clayton Andrews finished 3-for-5 with two scored runs and an RBI.

Josh Rodriguez picked up the win after allowing 11 hits, five earned runs and two walks over five innings. Rodriguez struck out five batters.

HS SOFTBALL

• MVC 18, PV 3 – The Monte Vista Christian Mustangs beat the Pajaro Valley High Grizzlies 18-3 in Monterey Bay League Pacific division action on Wednesday.

For MVC (8-5-1, 2-1), Sammantha Baer was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, three RBIs and two scored runs, Drew Barragan went 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, four runs and an RBI and Mariah Gonzalez scored twice and hit a triple. Haley Hollingsworth scored three runs.

The Mustangs host Elliot Christian today at 9:30 a.m. in a non-league game.

• NMC 6, Alisal 3 – Debora Guzman hammered a home run in the North Monterey County High Condors 6-3 Monterey Bay League Pacific division win over Alisal High on Wednesday.

Lindsey Lavender, Michaela Galli and Amber Duplissie hit doubles for NMC (7-5, 1-1), which plays at Alvarez High on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

HS BASEBALL

• MVC 9, Monterey 6 – The Monte Vista Christian Mustangs picked up a much-needed Monterey Bay League Gabilan division win over Monterey High, beating the Toreadores 9-6 on Thursday afternoon in Watsonville.

Dylan McPhillips hit a double and had two RBIs. Cody Paresa was 2-for-3.

Lucas Schmidt recorded the win on the mound after four innings of work.

MVC (7-8, 4-8) plays at Archbishop Mitty on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the first of three straight non-league games for spring break.

• St. Francis 2, San Benito 0 – Andrew Ciandro tossed a three-hit, complete game shutout to lead the St. Francis High Sharks past the San Benito High Haybalers on Wednesday in non-league action.

Derric Estrada-Haro hit a solo home run and David Talavera drove in the Sharks’ (4-7, 1-2 in SCCAL) other run.

• Watsonville 4, North Salinas 2 – Gio Gonzalez did a little bit of everything in the Watsonville Wildcatz 4-2 Monterey Bay League Pacific division win over North Salinas High on Wednesday night.

Gonzalez picked up the win on the mound, allowing no hits, five walks and striking out 11 through six innings, while also hitting a double, scoring a run and earning three walks at the plate.

Ryan Rivera was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and James Gomez Jr. hit a double and had two RBIs.

Jason Garza scored a run and doubled.

Watsonville travels to Aptos High on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
