Missing teen found in Imperial County

WATSONVILLE — Imperial County Sheriff’s deputies have located a teen who ran away from a Watsonville group home in mid-July. 

David Bordeaux, 15, was found safe on Tuesday, in Imperial County, which lies approximately 550 miles south on the Mexico border.

David has a history of running away from the group home but usually returned within a week or so, Watsonville Police spokeswoman Michelle Pulido said.

Because he is a minor, police are limited in what information they can release.
