Annual Mother’s Day run set for Sunday

The 40th-annual Mother’s Day Run and Walk is set for Sunday morning at Pinto Lake County Park. 

The event serves as a fund-raise for Pajaro Valley Shelter Services in Watsonville.

The event includes a 1K Kids Run Fun, 5K Run & Walk and a 10K Run, said Benna Dimig, Development Director.

A Race Day packet pick-up and registration before race will start at 7am at 757 Green Valley Road.

Race times are 

• 1K – 7:45am
• 5K – 8:00am
• 10K – 8:45am.
