WATSONVILLE — Natividad “Naty” Buenio De Mayo died at Dominican Hospital on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017. She was 61.

Mrs. De Mayo was born Sept. 8, 1956 in Tondo (Metro Manila), Philippines. She was the fifth of six children and the third daughter of Silvestre Buenio and Victoria Gadiano Buenio. Mrs. De Mayo was a nursing graduate of St. Rita Hospital School of Nursing & Midwifery in Manila, Philippines, Class of 1979. At the age of 32, she came to the United States with her eldest son in 1988; where they first established residence in Moss Landing.

Some of her hobbies included traveling, food, watching her favorite shows and being with family and friends. She loved to listen to Bruno Mars, The Beatles, John Lennon and the ‘80s genre.

Mrs. De Mayo was one of the most caring and thoughtful people. She always remembered birthdays, anniversaries, and the list goes on. She embraced every moment and comforted in time of need.

She is survived by her siblings, Rome Buenio and Auring Buenio; three children, Nikolai Jefferson De Mayo, Jennifer Jane De Mayo and John Rambo De Mayo; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 5-9 p.m. with the Rosary and Vigil recited at 7 p.m. Burial will take place in the Philippines at a later date.
