Newsom visits Pajaro to tour flood damage

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (center) is joined by other dignitaries and officials Wednesday during a visit to Pajaro where floodwaters have shut down the town of around 2,000 people and flooded homes, vehicles and farms. Newsom arrived shortly before noon in Pajaro and was joined by several elected officials in touring parts of the town including homes, businesses and other heavily flooded sites. He then attended a media conference on Salinas Road, where he highlighted aid that is on the way, including millions of dollars earmarked for farmworkers.
