Thousands of people came to downtown Watsonville on Dec. 14 for the first-of-its-kind Noche de Brillo celebration. The free family-friendly evening included a snow play area, lights, crafts hosted by local nonprofits, a holiday market, live entertainment, photos with Santa and a light parade. The City of Watsonville teamed up with the Friends of Watsonville Parks and Community Services and a long list of sponsors to put the event together.
