WATSONVILLE — Petra Garcia died on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 in Watsonville. She was 86.

She was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; however, she lived in Watsonville for the last 40 years. She was a woman of many wonderful traits. She loved listening to music and spending time in her garden. She enjoyed watching Spanish gossip programs. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.

She is survived by her four children, Juan Ramos Luquin, Dionisio Ramos Luquin, Salvador Luquin and Esperanza Ramos Luquin; along with numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Garcia.

A Rosary will be held on Monday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. On Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. the Mass will be held Our Lady of Assumption Church with the burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery in Watsonville.
