North Monterey County firefighters search for possible victims in a solo vehicle rollover crash Monday on Trafton Road in Watsonville.
Lt. Carlos Gonzalez with North Monterey County Fire said no one was found inside the Honda Civic that ended up in a drainage ditch around 1pm. One witness said he saw a man dressed in black flee the scene on foot toward the Pajaro River. The California Highway Patrol is continuing an investigation. The crash happened on the 600 block of Trafton Road.
