APTOS — California Highway Patrol officer Jesus Ruiz takes measurements at the scene of a crash on Soquel Drive Tuesday where a woman was injured. CHP Sgt. Grant Boles said the 46-year-old Watsonville woman was traveling south in a 2016 Nissan Versa at 2:25 p.m. just south of Aptos Street when a northbound vehicle reportedly swerved into her lane just south of Aptos Street. The woman steered hard to the right to avoid a collision and crunched into a steep hillside, forcing her car to roll over. She suffered moderate injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
