People line up at the food table to sample one another’s dishes at the first-ever Cooking Club potluck at the Watsonville Public Library on Main Street Thursday evening. A dozen people brought main entrees and desserts to share at the informal event. Discussion was shared as well about favorite cookbooks, TV cooking shows and more. The club will meet the fourth Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. Next month, soul food will be the theme. The following month Mexican food will take center stage. The free event is headed up by Dolores Wiemers, adult program librarian.
