Salinas Police Swat members joined Watsonville Police in a standoff outside a home on Atri Court in Bay Village in Watsonville Monday afternoon while serving a search warrant for a man wanted by Salinas Police.

Atri Court was closed off for several hours as police made announcements over a loud speaker for anyone in the home to come out.

Police deployed an overhead drone to provide a better view of the dead end street and used a K9 in the search. Scores of neighbors in the senior community gathered near the scene to watch the scene unfold.

Saliunas Police Sgt. Justin Heckman said one man was arrested on narcotics and weapons charges. Two others were detained but later released. No names were released.
