Watsonville police shut down Pennsylvania Avenue between 11:20 a.m. and 3 p.m.on Saturday to investigate the scene where a male motorist plowed his motorcycle into a parked Chevy SUV. Sgt. Donny Thul of the Watsonville Police Department said that the man was traveling east between Main Street and Hammer Drive at an unsafe speed. He suffered major injuries as a result of the crash. As of Monday afternoon, the motorist’s condition has not been released and the incident remains under investigation.
