Attendees of the 2018 Evening of Wine and Roses taste wine from Aptos’ Nicholson Vineyards. Hosted by the Pajaro Valley Community Health Trust, the event celebrated its 20th anniversary on Nov. 2 inside the Crosetti Hall at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. Local wine, beer and food was offered to guests, bouquets of roses were sold and both a live and silent auction was held. More than $70,000 was raised, with 100 percent of the proceeds supporting the Pajaro Valley Community Health Trust, which aims to support health promotion programs for Pajaro Valley residents.
