SANTA CRUZ — The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public to identify a woman whose body was found on Cowell’s Beach in Santa Cruz on Monday.

The woman is described as elderly, white, and about 5 feet, 5 inches tall. She weighs 130 pounds. She has white hair and light-colored eyes. The woman had no identifiable clothing, jewelry or tattoos.

The woman appears to have died within the past two days, Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Sgt. Dee Baldwin said.

Anyone with information or possible identity for the woman is asked to call Sgt. Ian Patrick at 454-7790.
