The Skillicorn BBQ is a major fundraiser to support scouting programs in the Greater Pajaro Valley and the Loma Prieta District.
Since its inception, the event has raised more than $650,000.
During the event, 24 new Eagle Scouts will be recognized, and Chuck and Ramona Allen will be honored for their support of scouting.
In addition, organizers will present the 2025 Skillicorn BBQ Scholarship and the 2025 Skillicorn Family Ranches Scholarship to two scouts who are seniors in local high schools.The BBQ is on Aug. 20 at 5pm at the Corralitos Padres Hall at 35 Browns Valley Rd. in Watsonville.
