WATSONVILLE—The Pajaro Valley Unified School District has extended its free bagged breakfast and lunch program through the rest of the fall semester.
Young people up to the age of 18 can pick up the meals at 15 PVUSD schools from 7-10am every weekday. On Fridays, the district is also providing breakfast and lunch for Saturday.
Vegetarian options are available at Lakeview Middle School and Pajaro Valley High School.
The distribution is open to all young people, even those that are not PVUSD students.
The following sites are open until Oct. 2:
- Amesti Elementary School
- Ann Soldo Elementary School
- Aptos Junior High School
- Calabasas Elementary School
- Cesar Chavez Middle School
- E.A. Hall Middle School
- Freedom Elementary School
- Lakeview Middle School
- Landmark Elementary School
- Ohlone Elementary School
- Pajaro Middle School
- Pajaro Valley High School
- Starlight Elementary School
- Watsonville High School
- Radcliff Elementary School (7:30-10:30am)
The Second Harvest Food Bank is also providing free groceries for families throughout the week at those same sites.
Grocery distributions are as follows:
- Monday: Watsonville High School
- Wednesday: E.A. Hall Middle School
- Thursday: Pajaro Valley High School
- Friday: Freedom Elementary School
