PLEASURE POINT—The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s office on Wednesday released a video of the suspects who allegedly kidnapped a man from his Pleasure Point home last month and then killed him.
Tushar Atre, 50, was kidnapped from his upscale oceanfront home on Oct. 1 around 3 a.m., and driven away in his girlfriend’s white 2007 BMW, according to SCCSO spokeswoman Ashley Keehn.
Sheriff’s deputies located the BMW on the 24000 block of Soquel San Jose Road near the summit along with Atre’s body.
A reward of $150,000 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people involved in the crimes. The information must be received no later than Dec. 30.
The video footage shows the suspects walking out of an alley from East Cliff Drive onto Pleasure Point Drive where Atre lived.
