Ron Mathis died in the early hours of Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 after a brave battle with tonsillar and bladder cancer. He was 63.
Mr. Mathis was a kind-hearted, hard-working man who adored his family. He was a music lover who had an appreciation for the simple things in life.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa; son-in-law, Juventino Perez; two granddaughters; mother, Alberta; sister, Debbie Harlan; brother, Steve; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Mathis.
There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
