November 30, 1942 – July 17, 2018
A resident of Corralitos for 46 years, Ron passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 on his beloved family ranch. He was born on November 30, 1942, in Redwood City. He met the love of his life, Lois, and they eloped in December 1961. Devoted father to Dale (preceded), Duane, Ronna and Deric (Jennifer). Loving grandfather of 7. Adored brother, uncle and friend. He is preceded in death by his son Dale, his parents, Paul and Louise, and his in-laws, Les and Dorothy Haines.
Ron worked in sheet metal for over fifty years and was a member of the SMW Local 104 Union. During this time, he became a mentor and teacher for the Union. He was a member of Sons of Italy and the California Forestry Association.
He loved and was devoted to his family and took great joy in being with his children and grandchildren. He had a heart of gold and touched many with his kindness and generosity. His smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Corralitos Community Church, 26 Browns Valley Road, Corralitos, CA. Reception to follow at Corralitos Padres Hall.
