Mariachi de Alma performs at the Share Your Holiday at the Elks Lodge in Watsonville Friday. Headed up by KSBW TV since 1986, the event—in conjunction with the Salvation Army—invited the public and businesses to contribute gifts, food and cash to help those in need on the Central Coast. The event was set up in seven locations. The Salvation Army continues to provide hot meals, help pay utility bills and provide groceries for the needy from their Union Street location. They currently are running four red kettle donation stations in Watsonville, and two in Aptos. (Tarmo Hannula/The Pajaronian)
