Santa Cruz Burger Week returns for its ninth year next month, offering diners a chance to sample creative takes on a classic favorite.
The 12-day event, presented by Santa Cruz Restaurant Week and Good Times, runs Feb. 25 through March 8 and features specially priced burgers from restaurants across Santa Cruz County.
Participating eateries will offer one or more burgers at set price points of $15, $18 or $20. Burgers may be served à la carte or paired with sides, giving chefs an opportunity to debut new creations or highlight popular menu staples.
Organizers say the event celebrates the county’s diverse food culture, with options ranging from traditional beef burgers to chicken, lamb, fish, portobello, vegetarian and vegan choices.
A regularly updated list of participating restaurants and featured burgers will be available at SantaCruzBurgerWeek.com leading up to the Feb. 25 kickoff. The annual Good Times Burger Week issue will also be published that day.
Visitors can use the website to explore restaurants, make reservations and sign up for email alerts. Daily giveaways for restaurant gift certificates will be hosted on Santa Cruz Restaurant Week’s Instagram page.
