Santa Cruz County Chamber announces new leaders

The Santa Cruz County Chamber announced its 2022 Chamber Board of Directors with a new Chair and Vice Chair, and added five new Board members to its team. 

Alan Smith, attorney at the Grunsky Law Firm, will be leading the Chamber as its new Board Chair. Smith recently retired from his position as Watsonville’s City Attorney, a position he had held for 25 years. He has also served as general counsel for Central Fire Protection District, and was a member of the Watsonville Rotary Club.

Dan Smart, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Dream Inn, will move up as Vice Chair for the Board. 

The Chamber also announced five new members: Jeff Daneff, VP of Finance from Dominican Hospital; Kristin Fabos, Director of Marketing at Cabrillo College; Clara Flores, Sr. Director of Supply Management at Poly (formerly Plantronics); Morgan Lyng Lukina, CEO of David Lyng Real Estate; and Tejal Sood, General Manager of Bayside Properties and Hyatt Place.
