WATSONVILLE—Santa Claus will be making an early appearance in Watsonville this week, visiting neighborhoods to spread some holiday cheer.

The second annual Santa Tour, which began last year during the height of the pandemic, kicks off tonight and will make its way through more neighborhoods on Thursday and Friday.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will travel together on a retired Watsonville Fire Department fire engine, playing holiday songs and greeting families.

The tour begins every evening at 4pm and concludes around 7pm. Tonight, it will start at 37 Davis Ave. and head to Hope Drive Park, then double back and head through neighborhoods near Freedom Elementary, Rolling Hills Middle School, Green Valley Cinema, Landmark Elementary,  Seaview Ranch park and Las Brisas Park.

The event is made possible by the City of Watsonville Parks & Community Services Department with help from the Watsonville Firefighter’s Association.
