The St. Francis High Sharks postponed their Saturday afternoon football game against Soquel High to a further date because of poor air quality from the ongoing fires in California's Wine Country, the school announced on Saturday morning.

The Aptos High Mariners boy’s cross country teams picked up Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League dual meet wins over St. Francis High and Scotts Valley High on Thursday at Pinto Lake County Park in Watsonville.

Chloe Manor had 36 assists, 11 digs, three kills and an ace to lead the Aptos High Mariners past the St. Francis High Sharks to a 26-24, 25-15, 25-20 Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League sweep on Tuesday night in Watsonville.
