
St. Francis junior quarterback Max Madrigal tossed four touchdowns in the first half to help lift the Sharks past North Monterey County in Pacific Coast Athletic League Mission Division-North action on Oct. 25.
Madrigal completed 15 of 23 pass attempts for 277 yards. He connected twice with junior receiver Keon Barcinas-Hill for a pair of touchdowns, while seniors Robert Gomez Jr. and Coy Jordan each hauled in one receiving TD.
Jordan also had 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Teammate junior Nicholas Fantl recorded one interception, while junior Vince Tovar recovered one fumble.
Next up, St. Francis (4-4, 2-1) hosts Monte Vista Christian (4-4, 1-2) for Senior Day on Saturday afternoon at 12:30pm.
At Salinas 49, Aptos 35: Aptos senior running back Gavin McDonald had 118 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on 24 carries, and the Mariners fell to the Cowboys in PCAL Gabilan Division play Oct. 23.
Teammate senior Scott Catesi finished with 118 rushing yards and one touchdown on 13 carries, while junior Caden Bogle had an 8-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.
On defense, senior Gavin Boston recorded one interception for the Mariners. Teammates Preston Carvalho and Bryce Boudreault each had one sack.
Next up, Aptos (1-7, 0-6) plays at Hollister (2-6, 2-4) on Thursday at 7:30pm.
San Lorenzo Valley 30, at Monte Vista Christian 14: Monte Vista Christian senior Boston Ashe had seven receptions for 80 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and the Mustangs fell to the Cougars in PCAL Mission Division-North action Oct. 23.
Junior quarterback Evan Vessy had 263 passing yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions for MVC. Teammate senior Iegor Moskalenko recovered one fumble, while senior Mykhailo Bronevytskyy finished with a team-best 13 tackles.

Scotts Valley 19, at Watsonville 10: The Wildcatz dropped to 1-2 in PCAL Mission Division-North play following a loss to the Falcons on Oct. 25.
