By Tarmo Hannula Santa Cruz County Sheriff deptuies show up in numbers Monday on Edgrace Lane in Live Oak for a man who had barricaded himself inside a home. About 14 patrol cars lined Edgrace off of Capitola Road Extension for more than two hours, starting before 11 a.m., as the man refused to come out of a house on the dead-end street, Ashley Keehn, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, said. As deputies took up position around the home, a negotiator used a loud speaker to ask the man to come out peacefully. Eventually the tactic worked, and the man walked out and quietly turned himself over to the team of deputies.
