WATSONVILLE — Police have shut down Clifford Avenue between Claremont and Melrose avenues Friday morning to make way for a stand off that is currently in progress.
Multiple law agencies are involved in the situation that includes an armored vehicle stationed in the driveway of 191 Clifford Ave. Yellow crime tape is positioned across the road.
There has been no movement in the house and no signs of surrender. Heavily armed police in helmets continue to maintain position around the home.
