AROMAS — Thousands of people poured into Aromas Sunday for the annual Aromas Day, a festival filled with music, food, yard sales, carnival rides and more.
Carpenteria Road and surrounding streets were home to a variety of vendors and nonprofit groups, such as 4H, Boy Scouts, Aromas Soccer Club, Cabrillo College, Aromas Hills Artisans and local school-related clubs.
Visitors started the day with a pancake breakfast at the Aromas Grange.
Barbara Scoles of Aromas Hills Artisans shows work donated by local artists that are being raffled off in the organization’s annual fundraiser. Tickets are $2 each, and can be purchased at the Aromas Water District Office on Blohm Avenue or at upcoming events in Aromas. The drawing will be held Nov. 18 during the Holiday Art Festival at the Aromas Grange. “Everyone donated such phenomenal pieces,” she said. For information, visit aromashillsartisans.org.
