Jael Leal, Watsonville, (Jr.): Wildcatz’s junior scored two goals in back-to-back wins in Pacific Coast Athletic League Gabilan Division action. He scored a goal in a 4-0 win against San Benito High and added another in a 2-0 win against Soledad High. Leal has a team-high 15 goals for Watsonville High (8-0-1), which remains unbeaten in league play.  

Katelyn Strader, Pajaro Valley, (Sr.): Grizzlies’ senior won the title at 191 pounds at the Pacific Coast Athletic League Girls Championships at Alisal High on Saturday. Strader went 4-0 with four pins, her fastest coming in 30 seconds against Alisal’s Karina Marquez.
