Joey Garibay, St. Francis: Sharks’ senior made a layup with 1.2 seconds that won at least a share of the Pacific Coast Athletic League Cypress Division basketball title with Gilroy. The Sharks edged the Mustangs 55-53 in the league finale.

Jasmin Castillo, Pajaro Valley: Grizzlies’ junior had two goals in a 3-2 win against Pacific Grove that secured a PCAL Santa Lucia Division title, which was the first girls soccer league title in the program’s history.
