WATSONVILLE — Two men stopped for a traffic violation Saturday morning were arrested after police found a loaded gun, a high-capacity magazine and additional ammunition.
Hollister resident Eduardo Montes, 27, and Angel Sanchez, 25, of Santa Cruz, were charged with carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, possession of a large capacity magazine and participating in a criminal street gang. Neither was in custody Monday, jail records showed.
Police stopped the pair in the area of Main Street and Riverside Drive for a vehicle code violation.
