A man was shot Wednesday morning at the Sofspra Car Wash on the 300 block of East Lake Avenue in Watsonville.

Watsonville Police initially got a call about a person being shot inside the car wash around 9:45am. Police were quick to arrive and set up a crime scene with yellow tape and lock down nearby E.A. Hall MIddle School.

Sgt. Juan Trajillo confirmed that one man had been shot. Detectives joined officers in marking evidence around the car wash that flanks E.A. Hall MIddle School and Pajaro Valley Prevention and Student Assistance.
