WATSONVILLE — Watsonville Police detectives are investigating a stabbing that occurred Friday night on the 100 block of Rodriguez Street.

The victim, a 20-year-old man, told investigators that he was in the area of West Front Street just after 7 p.m. when he got into an altercation with another man.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.

Responding officers rendered aid until paramedics arrived.

The suspect was described as a white male wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans.
