Boomeria returns
Santa Cruz Baroque Festival’s yearly celebration of music, science, food and fun will take place from 1-5 p.m. at The Kingdom of Boomeria in Bonny Doon. In celebration of the eve of Bastille Day, we honor the spirit of the French Revolution with wine and snacks in the style of French cuisine. The Sons & Daughters of Italy Watsonville Lodge No. 2016 Annual Bob Moresco Chicken BBQ is from 12:30-4 p.m. at the Corralitos Padres Hall. The Castro Adobe in the American Era
Come join us from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in celebrating the Castro family’s fascinating and prominent stories in the American Era of local history, starting in the Gold Rush when the adobe house was built. This hidden jewel at 184 Old Adobe Road in the Pájaro Valley is currently an active construction site as the adobe building is being repaired and is open only during scheduled events. Event is free; limited parking.
