Salvador F. Luna Jr. died suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. He was 37.

Mr. Luna was born in Watsonville to Salvador M. Luna and Silvia Falcon. He was a proud father who loved his family and adored his daughter Emely. His children were his pride and joy.

At the age of 7, he began to take interest in anything mechanical and electrical, often referring to anything broken as “it’s still good.” Following his father’s trade in refrigeration, Mr. Luna’s knowledge, skills and expertise made him a Master Appliance Technician.

He often offered his time to teach others. He enjoyed life, family and had a passion for ATV racing. He was always there to brighten the lives of others with his laugh and unique sense of humor.

He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, husband as well as an amazingly funny uncle.

Mr. Luna is survived by his wife, Zulema Gutierrez Luna; children, Emely, Victor, Yooselin, Salvador G. Luna III; his mother, Silvia; his siblings, Sandra and Hector Luna; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Salvador.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, March 28 from 5-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
