Work is moving ahead on a new Arco AM/PM business on Lee Road beside the massive Hampton Inn & Suites project. In its framing and siding stage, beside the behemoth 112-room, four-story Hampton Inn & Suites, the business will feature a drive-thru car wash and 18 fuel pumps. The convenience store will be 4,450 square feet. Also on deck at the same site is a drive-thru Starbucks at 2,333 square feet, three future restaurant sites, ranging in size from 1,344-4,023 square feet and three future retail shops at 1,490 square feet each. New signage recently went up on the front and rear of the Hampton building. Major road construction still dominates the heavily traveled intersection of Lee and Beach roads for underground utilities.
