WATSONVILLE—The City of Watsonville is currently holding a special art contest for local youth, and there is still a week left for pieces to be submitted.

The “Thankful Youth Art Contest” aims to inspire young people in the Pajaro Valley to share their creativity through their artwork while expressing what they are thankful for this year.

All youth 18 years and younger are invited to enter. Artwork must be original, done solely by entrants with no help. Only one piece per person will be allowed. 

The work, along with a contest entry for must be received by Monday. Go to watsonvillerec.com to review the guidelines and submit a photo of the work.

Winners from each age group will be announced on November 30.
