Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies and Caltrans workers closed Holohan Road and East Lake Avenue down altogether in the area on Jan. 14 as flood water gushed from Corralitos Creek into early afternoon.

Hundreds of people flocked to the banks of Salsipuedes Creek for a close look at the drama.

Around 2:30pm Sheriff’s deputies called for an evacuation of some areas near Corralitos Creek.

  1. Corralitos Creek, according to those who have lived here much longer than I have, has not been properly maintained for decades.
look to your past 2 south county supervisors if you want to find responsibility. and we have no idea what Felipe will do he spent about 3 minutes at the hastily called meeting at the Pajaro Village clubhouse last Thursday, and then quickly left.

  2. ST stupidly bought his house in Menapause Manor which is right next to levee. So stupid to buy a house near water and ST is dumber than a rock.
