WATSONVILLE—Watsonville Police Department lifted all evacuation warnings in the City of Watsonville on Monday.

Access into Pajaro from Watsonville is still closed off by the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office and will remain closed until Monterey County officials lift the road closures.

Santa Cruz County officials have confirmed that they will begin demobilizing evacuation shelters in the next couple of days.

The City of Watsonville urges residents to stay informed, alert and prepared for any future storms this winter. In a press release sent out this morning, they thanked the dozens of volunteers from community-based organizations, City staff, and residents who worked to help the community weather the back-to-back storms and flooding.
