WATSONVILLE — Ann Redfield died peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, July 11, 2017.  She was 85. 

She was born Antonina Galatioto on Oct. 6, 1931 in New York. After graduating high school she worked for Ford’s Department Store and JC Penney in Watsonville doing retail for 25 years.  She was known for her kind and caring ways. A gentle person with a beautiful smile. She enjoyed shopping, gardening and going for long walks.  

She is survived by her children, Sandra, Karen, Bonnie, Gina and April; her sister, Frances Littlejohn of Orange County; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Sam Redfield. 

Services will be on Wednesday, July 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a burial at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
