SANTA CRUZ — The fourth annual Tequila and Taco Music Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday at San Lorenzo Park in Santa Cruz from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

It is a family-friendly event with food provided by 13 different taco vendors, margaritas, craft beer, arts and crafts booths, live music and dancing all day.

“We estimate three to four thousand people will attend,” said Samantha Chittenden, community outreach manager for the festival.

A variety of top-shelf tequila and Mezcal will be available to try from nine different vendors on Saturday between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

There will be 40 tequila samples, a tequila judging, several flavors of margaritas, a lounge area, and a D.J., Chittenden said.

“We are excited to be returning to Santa Cruz this year,” she said.

A general admission ticket is $10 per adult, children 12 and younger are free. Other ticket prices vary.
