With autumn on the horizon, many local residents look forward to the first social event to celebrate the harvest season in the Pajaro Valley, our annual fundraiser, an Evening of Wine and Roses. This year’s event, which raises funds to support diabetes prevention efforts, health education, oral healthcare, scholarships for students in the health professions, and other health promotion efforts, will be held
Friday, November 3rd, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. at the Crosetti Hall, Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds

Now in its 34th year, this festive fundraiser is made possible through the longstanding and generous collaboration of winemakers from the Santa Cruz Mountains Appellation, as well as area restaurants, caterers, brewers and local rose and cut flower growers. The fine wines, craft beers, sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and fragrant florals combine to create a beautiful, bountiful celebration of good health typically enjoyed by more than 700 guests. Bottled specially for this event, most vintners also provide a double magnum of premium wine for lively silent and live auctions, which feature other unique gifts, original art works and collectibles.
This year’s event will also feature a Cash Prize Raffle, where anyone over the age of 18 can purchase a chance to win up to $15,000! The winner’s name will be drawn at the Wine and Roses event, but participants need not be present to win.

Included with admission is a commemorative wine tasting glass and hors d’oeuvres tray. 100% of net event proceeds support the Health Trust’s mission: to improve the health and quality of life for all Pajaro Valley residents.
