The Santa Cruz Warriors ended their six-game home stand on a high note, beating the Maine Red Claws 111-98 in front of another sold-out home crowd at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
For the third time this season, Warriors (18-15) guard Damion Lee led the team in scoring off the bench, notching 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field and 3-of-3 from deep.
Two-way guard Quinn Cook had his fifth double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 assists to go with 8 rebounds, and forward Terrence Jones returned to the lineup with 21 points off the bench.
Former No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett led Maine (16-17) with 29 points, 20 of which came in the first half with the help of six 3-pointers. The Red Claws also saw double-doubles from rookie guard Daniel Dixon (21 points, 12 rebounds) and center Devin Williams (13 points, 12 rebounds).
Maine got off to a hot start in the first quarter by scoring 36 points, shooting 14-of-21 from the field and 8-of-11 from three to take a nine-point lead.
The Sea Dubs climbed back in the second quarter thanks to 10 points from forward James Southerland.
The Warriors pulled away in the second half behind Cook, Jones and Lee, whom helped the team finish with 32 assists on 45 made baskets.
Santa Cruz travels to Prescott Valley to play the Northern Arizona Suns on Saturday at 6 p.m.
