Angel M. Terriquez died on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at UCSF in San Francisco. He was 58.

Mr. Terriquez was born on Aug. 2, 1959 to Porfirio Terriquez and Dionicia Mendoza in San Luis Soyatlan, Jalisco, Mexico. He relocated to Watsonville as a young man and married Maria Terriquez. He was a dedicated husband and father. He loved to watch soccer and to go fishing. He was a very friendly person, always willing to help when needed. Those who knew him would describe him as a fun loving and adventurous man.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Terriquez; children Rocio, Angel Jr., Cinthya, Yvonne, Cesar, Anthony, Randy, Aliza and Renee; and 10 grandchildren.

There will be a viewing on Sunday, Feb. 4 at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel in Watsonville from 4-9 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated on Monday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. at Assumption Church in Watsonville followed by a burial at Valley Public Cemetery in Watsonville.
