Arlene Paula Jennings died on Sunday, May 20, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was 79.

She worked as a cook and baker for Pajaro Valley School District at Freedom School for 25 years until she retired. She was an avid San Francisco Giants fan and enjoyed playing Sudoku and spending time with her family. She enjoyed listening to country music and watching Wheel of Fortune. She enjoyed going on motorcycle rides and cruising in vintage cars with her husband Ray.

She is survived by three children, Donald Ray Jennings, Ronald Dean Jennings (Elizabeth), and Tammy Lynne Brabant (Kevin); her brother, Leonard Williams; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Ray Jennings of 58 years; son, Jeffrey Shane Jennings; and brother, Lloyd Williams.

Celebration of life will be held on June 10 at 2 p.m. at 38 Heiner Road in Watsonville. Mehl’s Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
