The bridge that goes over Watsonville Slough, a connector between Harkins Slough Road and Walker Street, has now been cleared of the slalom of road cones that steered traffic around a natural gas pipeline upgrade project by a crew from Pacific Gas and Electric. The job stretched out over several months and still continues in various spots around Watsonville, including a closed section of Pennsylvania Drive between Clifford Avenue and Winding Way.
