WATSONVILLE — Agnes Margaret Rodriguez died at home in Watsonville surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous family members on Sunday, May 14, 2017. She was 102.
Mrs. Rodriguez was born to Ben and Mary Camacho on the Valencia Apple Ranch on Jan. 21, 1915. At the age of 14 she quit school and worked on the family ranch supervising the workers. Her first marriage was in 1937 to Antonio Espinoza who she had four children with. Widowed in 1948, and later remarried Raymond Rodriquez and had one son.
She is survived by two daughters and three sons, Dorothy Espinoza Snyder, Patricia Espinoza Morales, Tony Espinoza, Robert Espinoza and Raymond Christopher Rodriguez. She had five generations living.
A Rosary will be held Thursday, May 25 at 7 p.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel in Watsonville.
Funeral will take place Friday, May 26 at 10 a.m. at St Patrick’s Church, with burial and reception to follow.
