WATSONVILLE — A planned closure of Airport Boulevard has been pushed back, Graniterock announced.

The closure will now take place from July 30 to Aug. 12 from the intersection of Freedom and Airport boulevards to about 1,300 feet northeast on Airport Boulevard toward Pajaro Lane.

Crews will be removing and replacing sidewalks, curbs and gutters.

Barricades will be in place to keep through traffic out, but customers and employees will have access to businesses coming from Green Valley Road.

For information about the closure, call Graniterock Project Engineer Mark Hurley Jr. at 768-2718. For information about the project, call the City of Watsonville at 768-3100.
