Watsonville Police officer Rebecca Ramirez checks for evidence in the trunk of a Honda Accord on Harkins Slough Road Tuesday. Numerous police officers performed a high risk stop on the vehicle with two men aboard. Sgt. Brian Ridgway said the silver sedan was reported stolen Thursday in Watsonville. Police spotted the vehicle parked near downtown Tuesday. At one point two men climbed into the car and drove off. Police pulled the car over without incident a short distance away. Ridgway said the driver was detained for questioning. The incident is still under investigation.
